A whole bunch of early Bill Withers hits. Great song writing, and what a voice. Learning some tunes and trying to get some of that bluesy thing he has into my stuff. Songs I've been studying:
Ain't no sunshine (of course) Grandma's hands Use me Who is he (and what is he to you) Everybody's Talkin (originally buy Nielsen I think) I Don't Want You On My Mind Man , I never heard of this guy before :-) Now I`m a fan !!! Saw some videos on youtube , it`s so cool !!! Excellent! That means I can give a classic joke another airing. Q. How do you turn a duck into a soul singer?
A. Cook it in the oven until its Bill Withers!  Jan - I will be coming to your country in 2 weeks time (volcano permitting)
