This is exactly why I left science. Everybody is just opinionated for no good reason :-)

Music industry people aren't that dumb. They won't make us songwriters work for nothing, so why don't you just write the damn songs..

This standard rant has little to do with what this thread set out to be about. I guess the info requested was about if any studios could be recomended or if anyone was better than others.

To that I'll say, sure some are better than others, but it depends on what you want (and your taste, and how good you communicate if it's mail order). I tend to seek out the ones that's able to produce good contemporary sounding country, because that is what I believe I write. So a display of producing chops and samples of contemporary styled songs are important.

Those who specialize in traditional stuff are just as good, just for different writers.
