Often there are times in ones life they act in a way they do not wish, have a fight with some one they love or realize what they thought to be true is not. This lyric addresses this thought or realization. I hope this makes those who read it to reflect upon themselves, their actions towards other. May it make them look towards the inner spirit to guide them while having the wisdom to know the difference between an evil thought or action and good thought or action. If each of us were to stop and look at ourselves and how we interact with others; we would find we are quick to judge, put down, say thing we really do not mean and often time go out of our way to ignore or hurt others. When instead we should forgive those who do us wrong, see the good in each other and encourage that good to grow. We would then find ourselves helping others to help ourselves be better humans. We would then perform at least 1 ARK a day (1 Act of Random Kindness). And that would change the world to a better place for us all. I Don't Wanna Feel This Way © Teddie Cochran Had a fight with my wife today I didn't want to hear what she had to say I hate it when she's right and tries to change my life I know, I shouldn't see it this way Her tender touch cuts like a knife I open the good book looking for a phrase Sometimes I lose sight and I'm not always right She knows, I don't wanna be this way I don't like who I've become I wish I could undo what's been done Be my voice when I can't speak Be my strength when I grow weak Let my kindness line the streets Your love changes everything Lift my heart and spread my wings For all tomorrow might bring You're capable of anything Cause I don't want to feel this way It's easy to hold, but hard to keep When you're moving to a different beat Playing hide and seek like children in the street Lord knows, I don't wanna feel this way I don't like who I've become I wish I could undo what's been done Be my voice when I can't speak Be my strength when I grow weak Let my kindness line the streets Your love changes everything Lift my heart and spread my wings For all tomorrow might bring You're capable of anything Cause I don't want to feel this way Going the wrong way on a one-way street There's a price for every promise I don't keep Repeat Chorus: Regards, Teddie Cochran "The most unselfish gift to all humanity, is the willingness of a soldier to give his life for the preservation of freedom" TC "Perform at least 1 ARK (Act of Random Kindness) a day and you can change the world" TC http://www.teddiecochran-music.comhttp://www.soundclick.com/teddiecochran
