I frequently talk about my cat "Cupcake". He is a feral cat that my brother found in the woods. He has become a loving pet.
He was bitten today by a pygmy rattler. He evidentially caught the snake and brought it to my neighbors house and my neighbor killed the snake.
It looks like Cupcake was bitten on the leg. He is lethargic and currently sleeping on my brothers computer chair.
We called the Vet. They said that his symptoms look OK for now and that there is a chance that the poison may not kill him because he was bitten on the leg, I don't know what the odds are. We have to watch him for the next 24-48 hours. They say that using anti-venom would be too late now.
