Not only did I like the song but I loved the movie. I especially liked the part, towards the end, where Liv Tyler tells off her jerk bf in a very eloquent way, then falls for the "good guy". I love movies where the nice guy gets the girl in the end! Yeah, me too, Polly! That IS a good scene..... I also like the one where they first play the song in public. They get Guy to practice it in the garage with them because their regular drummer broke his arm. They play it as a very slow ballad and Guy is too nice to say anything but he's clearly bored with it. Then they go to the talent show and Guy starts it off with a real uptempo beat. The bandleader spins and tells him he's playing it too fast but doesn't want to miss his cue so he spins back around and starts singing. The band realizes as they play the song that it's very cool as an uptempo piece. As does the audience of course.... Great scene.... Scott

"The standard by which I now measure the things in my life is the following: If I was on my death bed, or if I knew I had a short time to live, would this issue be important? If the answer is no.. I don't sweat it at all. If the answer is Yes, you better believe it goes to the front of the order of today's business!" -Brian Austin Whitney
