Hi Folks,

It's been a fantastic week in Washington, DC. Today we have a rare and much needed off day to actually enjoy the city. There are 30MPH winds and 40-50 degree temps but it beats the normal temp of 10-20 or so this time of the year around here. The FOMC conference was fantastic and we made or renewed many great contacts and saw a lot of friends while talking important policy, industry, technology and artistic issues.

Last night we had a wonderful evening with the JPF Showcase. 25 artists performed and there were a lot of fantastic ones in the mix. (and a couple oddballs, which always makes it interesting). The venue was also a treat because the staff were very nice and the owner Alex was very hands on. They are interested in upgrading to become a listening room as well as more casual coffee shop environment and I hope the entire community will embrace them over the venues that are charging artists to play in the area. (And anyone local knows who those are, including one of the most famous venues in the area). This new venue has a site: www.coffihouse.com They've only been open 4 months but are already well loved in the community and hope to get on the map for touring artists as well.

We're heading out to see a monument and museum or two. I'll be back to the home office on Monday.

Have a great weekend everyone,

Brian
