From the look of it I'd have to say it's a toy. The keys on the pad do not look like they are full size, and then you're probably going to have contacts in the middle of the drawn on keys as well, and that will shrink the keys even more. You'd need some pretty expensive and sensitive equipment to pull something like this off, each key would have to trigger no matter where inside of the key you touch. I'd also bet that you would have absolutely no velocity control or just very little if there is any. If you're looking for a fingerboard controller, this is the closest we will ever get to something functional:
