I was sixteen & started seein this boy
He was so worldly-
Seemed like he knew it all
& I got the call
He lost his life

& I could hear him say to me

set your fears aside,
& go on with your life.
You'll see me again-
When you close your eyes."

I sat down & cried
I called my daddy tonight
& I closed my eyes.
