The ASR-10 Module is probably a bit different than what you're looking for. It has no internal sounds. It gets booted up off a floppy disk (or hard disk with an OS), and you load sampled soundsinto it. I've not touched mine for about 15 years, but tyhe sound quality is only as good as the recorded samples. Some things are amazing with it, and I've used it in the past to record vocal harmonies to songs.
