I was also thinking it would be cool to record anyone who wanted to be recorded... straight from the board into my laptop, basically. That way we could have good sound for the video instead of cheesy bad built-in video camera mic sound. Does that idea make sense? Think I can get a stereo rca feed from the mixer?
That way, if someone wanted a video and audio recording, they could get both, or if they didn't want to be videotaped but they wanted an audio recording, they could just get that, OR if they didn't want either, that would be great too because it would give me a break...
