TO ALL MY CHAPTER MEMBER BROTHERS AND SISTERS ALL OVER THE WORLD! WHAT'S UP EVERYBODY!
My name is Cris-M and I'm a non-performing songwriter from New York City, specifically the Bronx. Currently, I'm recording my first demo, with the objective to gain a publishing deal, so wish me the best of luck! I call upon my jp folks from all over the world to help me in my dilemna. Like so many of you out there, I have a subscription with Rhapsody, and as we all know, they have an amazing collection of songs and albums that goes into the millions. Unfortunately, they don't have everything. There are a few albums I'm looking for and I'm asking all the jp folks collectors everywhere, mild or obssesive, to check thier shelves to see if they have any of these 16 titles. They're all in the country-folk genre, so I'm looking exclusively for fans of this genre. These are the titles;
The Legendary Doc Boggs (Folkways) Rhinestone Cowboy...Glen Campbell (the 1975 Capitol lp) The Fanstastic Expedition of Dillard and Clark...Dillard and Clark 16 Tons of Boogie..The Best of Tennessee Ernie Ford (Rhino) Gilley's Smokin'...Mickey Gilley (Playboy) Tompall Glaser...Tompall (Sings the Songs of Shel Silverstein) Woody Guthrie...The Library of Congress Recordings, Vols. I-3 Same Train, Different Time...Merle Haggard A Tribute to the Best Damn Fiddler In the World (A Tribute to Bob Willis) Waylon Jennings..."The Taker/Tulsa" (RCA) George Jones with Love...George Jones A Picture of Me Without You...George Jones Nothing Ever Hurt Me...George Jones (Epic) The Grand Tour...George Jones (Epic) Willard...John Stewart (Capitol) Don't Come Home A-Drinkin'...Loretta Lynn (MCA)
I know, I know..It's a tall order and some of these records are as old as heck..I'm confident that many, if not all of them were released on cd or even cassette at one time or another. They're all masterpieces of the highest order, the greatest american albums ever made. Of course, I dont want your actual copy but I would like them transfered in any format, cassette or cd. I'll pay any price for your services as long as they are within reason. If I get enough postings, I'll provide my phone number in the next couple of days, that way we can iron out any and all details. My e-mail address is comicmans1@yahoo.com. Common, jp folks, I really need your help here. I'll eagerly anticipate all responses to my request. Thank you very much for your time.
Sincerly, Cris-M
