I tend to agree with you. I never really expected anything from the contest either.
I am going to be performing my entry in a few days. I been thinking about stealing your idea about saying it was rejected by AI, LOL.

I see the conspiracy folks are starting to say there was trickery involved in Malinda being voted off. They are even saying they wanted to use a Male vocalist song from the top 20 so they are going to let Blake win it.
I can't believe the stuff being proposed about all this.
These people need a life, LOL.

I am going back to being a lowly songwriter.
I'm taking your advice about how to get something started in my local area. We are having a CD release/ Open mic combination concert this Sunday. We have have about twenty five locals playing. Should be a good time. I am hoping I can expand on it in the coming weeks. Trying to get a local songwriters group started, too.
