Hi Noel.. Thanks for dropping in an listening! Hi- Hi Johnboy You can get an Amen!  I agree with your first observation about the 90's thing. Being close to a 80's metal ballad by just adding some power chords is way, way off lol.... Unfortuantley I know that period of music all to well and nothing in this song matches that. As for your points they were VERY GOOD! There was truth to be found in all of them. And yes I do indeed attach much happiness to my career success. I think anyone who has a career will tend to do that. Is it a good thing? No probably not! Is it healthy? Na! is it normal? Yes I think so.. i wonder sometimes though I treat music with much of a sports mentality many times. When i work with someone i feel as though we are team mates and every song is one step closer to the Super Bowl. I chose to do one thing with my entire life and I want to succeed at it. Achieve the best I can. Can't do that making a living as something else, so it has to come from the field, hence the biz... I have sacrificed nearly everything and worked very very hard. I have pride & I never give up so there is a big conflict right there. I measure success against myself. I have enough disgust with the Music Business as do so many others but my biggest battle and conflict is with me! That's the one Im losing.. I'm starting to learn... There are no external enemies only internal ones.Peace Sub
