Hi Folks,

We're working on voting discs for judges who can't vote on line. It's a very slow process and costs a lot to do so we're really hoping more members will embrace voting on line. For those with fast connections, we sent the link and info to you all this morning in the newsletter.

The performers for the awards show are amazing this year. All our shows have been very good but the bar (at least on paper) has been raised again. It's not quite as diverse as we want yet, but we have more slots to address that remaining.

We haven't sold enough show tickets to be able to hire the pro film crew for the show unfortunately. So we'll try to wing it again with our cameras and those of anyone else who can bring theirs to set up and keep running all night. This is a big disappointment for me personally but we simply can't afford to commit with so few tickets sold so far. Last time we were already sold out before Oct even started. The show itself (which is in our control) will be the best ever. Hopefully some folks want to come and see it and join us. I've noticed that almost no one from the message boards have bought tickets and only a couple of the Lyric nominees have. I think if some of you who only view JPF as the message boards come out to the show, you'll see first hand what else there is to what we do.
