Hi All,

It's that time of year again and I'm writing to formally invite you to WOOD-land STOCK 2005! If you haven't made it in the past, it's an all day cook-out and music open stage with a full sound system and featuring member of Just Plain Folks.....however, you don't have to be a member to attend or participate. All are welcome! There's a swing set for the kiddies if you bring them along, volleyball, bocce, etc. Or you can just sit on the lawn and listen to the fabulous music performed by all of the great musicians that come out each year. The details are below. Email me with any questions:

WHEN: Sunday August 14, 2005 from 12:00pm - ?? (sound becomes an issue after 10pm)

WHERE: 89 Woodland Circle (WOOD-land STOCK, get it?) Ludlow, MA 01056

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?: BYOB, a chair or blanket to sit on and an appetizer or dessert to share. We will provide the rest of the food and I will have accommodations for my vegetarian friends :-)

PERFORMING: all are welcome to perform. I can figure out how long time slots will be if I get a general idea of how many people will be coming.....so please RSVP by August 1st! It's run like an open stage. Please let us know if you have special set up needs. You will need to bring your instruments. I may have amps for the backline......but that's not yet confirmed. I will get back to you on that. We do have a drumset for the backline.

So I guess that's the scoop. Of course, rain will postpone the event and we can make the rain date for the following Sunday, August 21st. Same time, same place. If you have any questions about the weather (for those of you coming from a distance away) call ahead so you don't make the trip for nothing.

Please forward this email to other members of your JPF or RISA chapters or other folks you think would be interested in coming......but PLEASE encourage them to RSVP by August 1st so we can plan for food, etc.

We're looking forward to seeing you!!

All the best,

Lisa & Brad

If you look at the glass and see it as half full, drink up!
