Hi Gang,
Becky and I have been very involved in preparing the house for a party we just wrapped for my father in laws 80th birthday.About 100 guests with Jim Mason hired as entertainment with your's truley on auxilary percussion and backing vocals. We have family from out of town and have been overwhelmed with it all. Didnt mean to leave this hanging.
First let me make it clear that Java Junction made NO request for monies or any minimum. I don't want to be unfair to them by confusing what another venue felt neccessary to open on a regularly schedualed day off. I really think the answer is that we all concentrate on having stronger turn outs. Folks will eat and drink and spend money the rest will fall in line.
This chapter has thrived and grown and been inspirational to allot of local performers and I would hate to see things spoiled by dealing with a money issue.
