I used dynamic mikes for home recording for years..
Just recently switched to a large diaphragm medium cost condenser..the difference is startling..should have done it years ago..
and..yes..Mikle is a saint...he was a 'monument' for a long time but gave it up..
Have you ever seen what pigeons do to monuments?
