Congratulations Simon! Yes! No matter what, a legit publisher's signing is not an easy thing to have happen. I know,,,,24 years for us, and no ink for that event used yet. This IS one BIG step. MANY, (most likely), got turned down by that company before you! Now it's up to them to do their job. You obviously did yours with those two songs.
And if no cuts in the contract time, continue to shop them to other publishers. In fact, get some other songs to other publishers now, (if you haven't been trying already). Get that buzz going about you even more!
