hey, i'm pretty new here - n noted in the recent questionare that i would be willing to start or co-chair (assist) a macon group - not sure how often i could get up to atlanta tho

mostly i have been doing my "networking" online - i am a "one man band" (guitar, bass, some vocals) with over 300 tunes, and a website - i found a lead guitarist who's pretty interested, but he lives in seattle, so we just exchange mp3s thru email for now - all we need now is a drummer and a singer, to get started, but also collaborators on this vast accumilated material

i guess the problem is i'm hard rock, non-commercial, non-metal-punk, and living in the south - i'm also not very southern-rock oriented - as far as i've seen, atlanta is the most progressive-rock friendly outpost in the entire southeast region - but the focus is more on making albums than playing out alot - so i guess i'm more of a songwriter than a musician - any kindred spirits in here?
