Someone once asked Woody Guthrie how he felt about 'someone' (not Dylan) who was singing & stealing his songs & melodies...And Woody said: "Hell, he just steals from me. I steal from everybody."

And Pete Seeger, Woody's Pal, 'borrowed' from the book of Ecclesiasticus to write a song we know as 'Turn turn turn'.......

'There is nothing new under the sun',,,,But as Artists, the trick, I think, is to put our own 'spin' on ageless themes & stories.
