I have to admit, I’m a big fan of Guy E. Trepanier and his ukulele-centric music. His lyrics are simple yet incredibly catchy and effective, and his melodies have a way of sticking with you. Inspired by one of his original ideas, I added a few lines of my own, and the result is “It’s A Nice Day.” I love how it turned out - simple, emotional, and relatable. I’m really glad I had the chance to collaborate with Guy. It’s A Nice Day( Guy E. Trepanier / Robert Baitinger)https://soundclick.com/song/15239180[Intro] It’s a nice day, ooh,ooh [Verse] I like to fly a kite with you Colors painting skies of blue I never feel a trace of fright When I’m wrapped up in your light [Verse] I like to chase the sights with you Every little dream feels new Sun is shining, open skies Got you right here by my side [Pre-chorus] Nothing else I’d rather do Every road just leads to you [Chorus] It’s a nice day, hey, hey So come on out and play I just wanna stay with you It’s a nice day, ooh, ooh It’s a nice day, hey, hey Don’t let it slip away I could make it right with you It’s a nice day, ooh, ooh It’s a nice day [Break] [Verse] We don’t need to get away Your smile makes it all okay Simple moments, me and you Turn to magic out of the blue [Verse] Every second feels so right Dancing in the golden light No worries, just you and me Living wild and feeling free [Pre-chorus] Nothing else I’d rather do Every road just leads to you [Chorus] It’s a nice day, hey, hey So come on out and play I just wanna stay with you It’s a nice day, ooh, ooh It’s a nice day, hey, hey Don’t let it slip away I could make it right with you It’s a nice day, ooh, ooh It’s a nice day [Bridge] We don’t need a reason why Just your hand here in mine Every little thing feels right On a day like this tonight [Interlude] It’s a nice day, ooh, ooh It’s a nice day, ooh, ooh [Final chorus] It’s a nice day, hey, hey So come on out and play I just wanna stay with you It’s a nice day, ooh, ooh It’s a nice day, hey, hey Don’t let it slip away I could make it right with you It’s a nice day, ooh, ooh It’s a nice day [Outro] It’s a nice day, ooh, ooh It’s a nice day, ooh, ooh It’s a nice day
