4. Final take away is when you go for verse, verse, chorus, verse, bridge, etc…….you have a bag of resonate babble to draw on and use in your lyric storyline.


Ten minutes only, let the pen just run
No rules, no reason, no need to be done
Chasing a feeling, a flicker, a thread
Digging for something that’s already said
Loose thoughts drifting, no need to explain
Words fall like rhythm, like soft summer rain


Day after day, something starts to appear
A voice getting closer, a signal more clear
Fragments of meaning, scattered and true
Turning to something that sounds more like you
And when it’s time for a verse or a line
You’ve got a pocket full of gold you can mine
