Did I cross your mind today? Is life still moving fast?
I know how time can slip away
when you think it’s gonna last.

Has it been that long? Oh how my little ones have grown.
So proud of you and your family (Boo),
I just wanted you to know…

It’s the same ole crazy days
and lonely nights.

But you know me,
I’ll be alright.
I just need to hear your voice
from time to time.

I wouldn’t spend my time dancin'
with demons in my head.

I would have held you closer, Bo, let Jesus lead the way.
And love you from a place
I didn’t know until today.

But I’m still here.

It’s the same ole same regrets
that keep me up at night.

But you know me,
I’ll be alright.
It’s just good to know you’re safe
and my “littles” fine.

All you saw were remnants
of a child so badly scarred,
un-reconciled inside a broken man.
I look back now, it shames me how
I tried to hide my love,
and shared with you
my bleeding scars, instead.

I’m glad she found the peace

But if it all goes bad, again
