How do you think you make your own decisions...in a vacuum? IF your own decision is based on The Bible, Christian teachings etc, then that is your basis. If you are an atheist, you base it on some other teachings. But those decisions are made in the moment and reactive to the situation
So you (I believe) are saying that your religious upbringing allows you to be abusive towards women if they aggravate you....please tell me I am wrong because that is twisted thinking to me
Oh and I am actually a recognized interfaith activist here....not because I believe in everything but because I believe in man's natural right to worship God as He was revealed to them....or in some ultimate reality that is part of their birth.
An individual's "spiritual life" is not mine to dictate. It is between them and God, or their belief system.
I cannot, will not judge others on behalf of God. Not my job.
If you really believe someone has offended God, why must you be the one to judge and punish? I trust God to do so. Why can you not?
I also whole heartedly believe that invoking the name of God to punish or marginalize others is the ultimate in hypocracy. I give up. There's no point arguing with someone who will put words in your mouth... for the sake of argument. It's like arguing with a drunk. Fine, JV, You're a Kunt! Feel better?
