Humor is when you go in for a MRI that lasts 20 minutes and sounds like a jack hammer and you have a panic attack . They failed to mention that you need drugs to handle it . so now it's give me drugs and I'll do it again . The worst MRI I had is when I had polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR). The MRI took 45 minutes, and I was in pain the entire time. It helped to diagnose my problem though. I was on prednisone for a year. Finally went away. Hopefully it never comes back. Recently I had an MRI of my brain. They didn't find anything abnormal. Just normal degeneration for my age. Welcome to old age. The age of Tylenol. Never had mind-altering drugs like fentanyl. Okay, so a favorite topic of old people is talking about their maladies. Did I tell you about my back pain? John

"Defeatist Pessimists and Rose Colored Glasses Optimists are lonely companions, victims even. Both ideologies imply predestined outcomes, and therefore breed inactivity in its victims. Inaction is the only sure way to lose at anything in life. All positive action guarantees at least a fighting chance." -Brian Austin Whitney
