I can only offer one person's opinion. The majority of people are here for validation. They only want to be told that their song is good.

Generally speaking, I don't like to critique songs. The reason for that is that I am well aware that all I can tell someone is how I would write their song.

So I usually give a visceral response or a mild criticism or suggestion.

You on the other hand, have been writing songs for several years, are in Nashville going to song circles, open mics and whatever else you may be doing
.. and exchanging information and ideas with other enthusiastic songwriters... so your comments, particularly with regard to country songs, are much more informed and meaningful than mine, or Elvis.

As a result, I am much more interested in your criticism of a song than I am in mine or Elvis. Glad you're here. If Elvis isn't, he should be.
