In the future, always remember that kings wear crowns, as do queens...but you wrote "his" so its either a king or a prince.
Could be an emperor, I suppose, but kings are "crowned" at coronations.

You’re interpreting things that simply aren’t in the lyric. You’re free to read it that way, but it’s your projection, not my intention.
And even if someone sees political parallels, the song doesn’t take a side. It isn’t written from the left or the right. Leaders of all kinds change their minds, hide things, reveal things — that’s the point. It’s not a coded message about any particular figure.
