buried deep within us
and it's powerful enough
to ease the distrust
every man, woman and child
could all sing along
but the darkness keeps
ahold of this poor song

There's a song out there
floating in the nether
a simple song to bring our
hearts and souls together
but no one knows the lyric
or what notes to play
so in the darkness
this poor song must stay
