Jeff Muller Music I'm a musician, songwriter, producer, and lover of sound, with a particular penchant for the roots. www.jeffmullermusic.comWell folks, it's official--the first single from my upcoming album Naptown to NOLA is out today and I can't wait for you to hear it! Why today? Because it's Art "Poppa Funk" Neville's birthday and this song is my funky celebration of him! Art was a huge inspiration for me and his kindness was one of the driving factors for me deciding to move to New Orleans back in '96. And if it weren't for that decision, I would have missed out on a lot of incredible things. A huge thanks to all my musical collaborators who helped bring this song to life, I am honored to have worked with each of you! The song features Ivan Neville (vocals & B3 organ), Ian Neville (rhythm guitar), George Porter Jr. (bass), Joe Krown (piano), Tanya Ellsworth Boutte, Tommy Lepson, and Mary Ann Redmond (backup vocals), Bill Summers (percussion), Raymond Weber (drums), Abbie Palmer (harp, wood flute, singing bowls, and incidental vocal), and me (wah and lead guitars). Each and every one of you is a bad *ss! And shout out to my engineering partners-in-crime who masterfully got this song recorded and mastered for your listening pleasure: Mack Major (primary recording engineer), Adam Keil (recording engineer, percussion), Richard Tommy Lepson (recording engineer, Maryland backup vocals), Matthew Tebo (recording engineer, wah and lead guitars), Abbie Palmer (who recorded herself), Ahren Buchheister (mixing engineer), and Mike Monseur (mastering engineer). Y'all killed it! Keep your eyes posted, because there's still more to come, including behind-the-scenes blog posts and a video for the song--I'm working with the incredible Hunter Miles Davis and Jim Faris to bring that to you. And, of course, "Beam Me Up" will be joining 9 of its kin to create an album this coming April. But don't wait for that, get to listening today! I hope you dig it. Beam Me Up www.jeffmuller.hearnow.comBeam Me Up Beam Me Up is the first funky single from the upcoming album, Naptown to NOLA, which will come out in April 2025. Jeff Muller is joined here by Ivan Neville, Ian Neville, George Porter Jr., Raymond Weber, Bill Summers, Joe Krown, Tanya Boutte, Tommy Lepson, Mary Ann Redmond, and Abbie Palmer. Visit....
