Well, the moon was going through a shy phase
Bashful, silver smile above those lonely highways

And each decision had become a heavy load
I choked on ev’ry fork in the road
Then I saw the mountains baptized in the mist
And I knew the answers must exist

All that’s earthly and material
Are shadows cast by what’s ethereal
It’s beyond what man has written
Far past any mortal system
God is past all measure
For in Him are all the treasures
All the treasures of wisdom

Only heaven’s counsel has no limitation
Ev’ry human proverb is an imitation

For each star established in the night
Sings out in a timeless choir of light
And I knew that their eternal harmony
Was the surest hope my heart would see

All that’s earthly and material

All that I regret
All that I confess
In my hour of need
His Spirit intercedes
For all I can’t express
