48. WEDDINGS FOR SOLIDARITY; New Beginnings. Paronde Cos Revondennh.

Briggs carries us home to Entemannh Garibe. It's crowded. It's a party! There aren't enough seats but we wear mag-shoes, float, laugh a lot. We marry there again, on a sunny day, out on the patio near our favorite pub. All the pubs turn out and observe the ceremony, congratulate us. The wind begins to blow and the sky clouds up again. Everyone is glad to go in out of the cold.

We go south to Costaramannh, marry again in the Government complex. No one objects. We have the support, the blessings of the people, ass Emoilihn, family.

We go home. Home.

Eenunh and Tinunh move in with me while we're having some work done on her place, her parents' home. There isn't any apartment next to hers so we had a door cut by the bathroom door, and a hinged door installed. Once they had a small space behind it they set up a drip-screen, just dripping water to catch the sandstone dust while Brownboys continued to cut the stone. They brought it out in blocks, which they used to close in the bed hollow room, leaving a foyer by the front door. Tinunh loves her new bedroom and can't wait to move back into it!

I had them cut a new bathroom, with a tub for two and shower, and a ramp down to a spacious master bedroom, out on the cliff face, with glass windows, a balcony.

One night, here in my place, Tinunh is asleep on a cot. Eenunh asks me,

"Do you... have any... regrets... about the choices you have made. You've chosen to leave your planet Earth, to make your home here... with me... with us. That's... a big decision. Do you... are you satisfied with your choices?"

"Eenunh," I tell her, without having to think about it, "I'd trade a whole world, for one night in paradise, with you."

Patrick is released from jail, into the custody of Captain Briggs. The Machinist marries his girlfriend and moves to the East side. Aleashnnh moves to Entemannh Garibe. Blink gets a new set of clothes.

The Deutch L. A. crew prepare to head home to planet Earth. Angelo gets Eesheennh hired to replace me! She's going to planet Earth, the first Emoilihn to the human world. I warn her she will be Ass Oomam there, The Alien. She tells me, in perfect English, "I will be an ambassador, and... I'm coming home as soon as possible. Angelo is coming back with me! He calls it a..." she hesitates, goes on, "win-win situation!"

And it is!

Soda and Thin Man will soon be parents. Soda is running for election as a Koobah!

Oh. There's one more... thing... I... feel I should... tell you.

Eenunh... and I... Eenunh... is pregnant.

I've never been more scared in my life! She says she feels good, and trusts it will be good. I defer to her superior attitude.
