A joke in a situation comedy had two friends discussing one girl's 'shallowness', I think was the gimmick.
She was denying being shallow. Her friend replied calling B. S., saying,
"You broke up with that last guy because he pronounced it Or-ee-GONE!"

Friends in Newark, Ohio correct you if you say it any way other than 'Nurk'.

We picked up a hitchiker coming out of Cincinnati with a cardboard sign saying, "Lancaster".
After he was in the vehicle I thought I'd make conversation.
"So you're from LAN-caster?" I inquired.
"No," he said. "I'm from LANK-ester."

A girl I worked with broke up with a guy because he said, "Stupider!"

I have a Song titled, "To Or-e-GONE." I didn't want to go out with her anyway.

So anyway, this is just a shout out to Oregon-ers to say hang in and hopefully we'll all be out Socializing soon with music in the air!
