Finished #3 with Josh, titled "Melancholy Sax Lounge". On website. John Really nice, that's Tenor again. Whats nice for you is you are playing to yourself, you have subtle tempo changes in there that would VERY difficult to pull off playing to a click, but relatively easy when the band is in sight. Im very excited to have started doing this. I have all these ideas in my head, and I keep thinking the other people will know whats in my head... lol. Ive gone through about 50 songs and trying to find 10 that I like enough to attempt this. at the moment im working on sketch tracks, basic ideas for a bass and piano player or keys, sax maybe. But this is taking up all my time, last night I looked up and it 2 am. eventually.... Thanks Fde! Yes, I very seldom use a click track. A click track is so confining. Good luck with your ventures into this new human application. And yes, it's very easy losing track of time when pursuing our art. Best, John

"Defeatist Pessimists and Rose Colored Glasses Optimists are lonely companions, victims even. Both ideologies imply predestined outcomes, and therefore breed inactivity in its victims. Inaction is the only sure way to lose at anything in life. All positive action guarantees at least a fighting chance." -Brian Austin Whitney
