You know Joe, that last question still to this day never seems to end. Even among people who should know better. Any poll/contest etc. that requires the public to beg for votes thus artificially "stacking" the results is meaningless. All you're doing is getting clicks for the host of the ordeal and forcing those who actually want to help you to give important info to these same entities for the privilege of proving what you already know, that they are your friends/family and they support you and want you to succeed. It's better to simply thank them for being supportive and not punishing them with such requests.
