Soooo....the blackface Fender amps from the 60's were, (and still are) highly regarded, with the Silverface amps that followed being much less so...
...until these past past few years, when their value has risen dramatically. Once derided, now the Silverface is well spoken of, and I'm not speaking of the modded amps that turn Silverface amps back to Blackface specs. I often wonder about vintage prices and how that market is driven (besides scarcity) Get a pro to say a Silverface is great and suddenly they're more valuable? I play through a Silverface Vibro-Champ (76) Sounds good to me....
