FWIW... My next album, Playing in the Ruins, will be recorded with the Gospel Trio. Since there's no studio in this area that can accommodate the band "Patsy Cline style," we're doing it live (first time anybody's ever done that in this area). It'll be at the Bay City Arts Center in downtown Bay City, Oregon. Show starts 7 p.m., Saturday Nov. 21. We'll do about 90 minutes of my stuff, and then pick the best 12 or so songs for the album. Hope to have the album out before Christmas--CDs make great gifts. What's important for you guys, who live all over the planet, is we'll be streaming the concert live via ConcertWindow, the East Coast streaming service I've used twice before. Link is www.concertwindow.com/115203-gospel-trio. Tuning in will be FREE. The only thing you'll miss out on not attending in person is my homemade cookies. Hope you can come (or "come"). Joe

"Sometimes reaching a goal earlier than planned is a great achievement. It shows you have worked hard, pushed ahead and made it happen. However, sometimes reaching a goal far past your original deadline, long after you wanted to complete it, and after the accolades you might once have gotten for the achievement are over, it is an even greater achievement. This shows you never gave up, due to adversity, deficit, criticism and those little life detours that end many dreams and goals. In many ways, this is a reason for even more pride!" -Brian Austin Whitney
