Hey Eddie.....I'll pass this on to Phyllis. BTW...she is 83 and I met here 25 years ago. She wrote the Book and Lyrics to Dog Show The Musical and I wrote all the music and she has written or co written lyrics with me for about 100 songs. Mostly I write my own words these days. We were discussing a situation where she went to a play in the afternoon on Collins Ave. Miami Beach and NOBODY was there except her. There were 6 people in the show and she could see how disappointed. WELL....in her amazing way went up towards the stage and told them that SHE Was there and would LOVE to see the show. She sat in the front row in the middle seat and LOVED the Show.....SO....an Audience of one is good enough. Nobody promised us an Audience anyway. We create and put our work out there and leave the rest to the ethers.
That night at the club.....I think I had a lot of vodka's, smoked a joint and probably had at least one Quaalude...lol
BUT that Hand I got from the Chinese Cook really Meant a lot to me and Made My Night.

"If someone is truly a jerk, or truly is not deserving of any positive reply from you, polite indifference is the best response you can give. Do not insult. Do not slam. Do not follow the urge to be nasty. Simply be politely indifferent." –Brian Austin Whitney
