Doug, Wow! Dig this tune a lot. As others have already mentioned, this rocks. My first impression of the vocals gave me a really good Michael Stipe feeling. In fact, the entire melody could be on an REM set somewhere. I know most of us are working on home studio gear, so I'll say this is a righteous recording. Really impressive. The intro was a bit harsh. I'd ease into it. Let it taper a couple of seconds into full volume. Center the high hat with the drums if it's on a separate track. Loved the harmonies and I'll say it again, REM. I can not find anything wrong lyrically. Pile It On My Grave is such a cool hook. The opening line caught me for the whole song. And I'm very jealous by the way you used your rhyming scheme. Very cool. If there was a Like button, it would be "Like+1". Chap
