This one is about the fact that when someone exits our life there are things that we tend to miss about said person.
I’LL MISS
c2017 Brian Beecher
I’ll miss your buoyant laughter You were just a crazy fool Didn’t believe you when you told me You discovered a new tool
So determined to create some Energy from a different space Whereas before I was impatient Now I’ll wait to see your face
I’ll miss the positive aspects Of the life that we once knew At the time there were so many Hard to know which one to turn to
I’ll miss the way you’d guide me To enjoy each days energies And when I was feeling troubled You would try so very hard to please
I’ll miss the days when you told me That you had a lot to give Learning to select words in a way so More heartfelt and positive
I’ll miss when you said that just As words have meanings so do thoughts And how you’d put a smile on my face With the kind of love you brought
I’ll miss the honest way you Recognized where you had gone wrong Determined to no longer walk that path And try harder to get along
That it’s possible to heal yourself and Heal others at the same time Then show others how you did it And create a verse of rhyme
I’ll miss how you’d use your words to Heal and build lasting bonds Then you’d lure me out to nature Where we’d kiss by the rippling pond
I’ll miss when we each had something To contribute to conversation Never a sign of weakness But meant to keep more balanced
I’ll miss the way you held me Somehow you had a magic touch Never thought that you would leave me When the going got too rough
Now determined to create some Energy from yet a different space You became the one impatient Hope someday to see your face

Quite a long write Brian. As a suggestion I'd find a different phrase for positive aspects Lyric wise it's not conversational or maybe it's me ! Travis.

I like the message.
Having people no longer in our lives is always a bitter sweet mixture of missing them and remembering them.
Maybe it doesn't matter, but I find myself wondering if the person died or just moved away, or moved on.
oh, the verse with conversation and balanced does not rhyme like the other verses do.

This is an idea that I had floated with for twenty years or more and finally got it down on paper. Hybrid of remembrances of different people both good and not so good.
