I tried the shake/flip method but instead of a pick, a little white triangle appeared with the words "Try again". So I did.
A triangle appeared again but with the words "Outlook not so good".
So, I tried a third time and the triangle appeared with the words "You shoulda got a turtle".
Go figure.
Peace,
(still without a pick) Dave

Actually, nobody has mentioned a drinking straw...which any bar has. Take a bit of duct tape and apply to the straw just below the top. Then fold it back on itself so the adhesive is facing out, and bend it over the top. Now go fish out your pick!

Just leave it in there, and grab a new one. It adds a nice resonance rattling around in there during a lively set!

Turn guitar over, soundhole facing you. Jerk up and left, causing the pick to fall into the lower left of the guitar. In one motion, jerk up and back toward you....pick falls back out of soundhole almost every time.

I turn the guitar upside down and move the guitar up and down to bounce the lost pick around inside the box. As I get it hopping and it's airborne I move the hole closer and closer to the bounce pattern until it comes down on the hole and falls helplessly to the floor.

Or, keep ALL the pics in there, and when it comes time for shakers, just shake the hell out of the guitar, (with care NOT to have any pics fall out)!
The challenge will be to play the guitar WHILE using it as shakers!

Have a vodka martini and then smoke a huge doobie. Then turn the guitar upside down and shake it as hard as you can and pray. lol
