I send a request to Louis the other day asking him if I could post this fine worktape from Ian and Mike that I plunked a guitar and bass on to. He said sure. I believe that there is a more fully produced version from Mike floating around. So here I am as a "non-hired gun" (ha, ha) barging on to this great tune. By the way, I love this song and the excellent work by Ian Ferrin and Mike Caro. Kevin P.S. Hi Kevin, Mike and Ian, This is beautiful. My first thought was that this is soooo sad, but you know what just the thought of being carried away by angels made me rethink that! It’s not sad, it’s just a beauty that we’ve yet to understand.  Dottie

Thanks for posting this. Having lost a child much too young, I can relate to this. I don't think the lyric could have conveyed that feeling any better than this one did. I could go on about that but won't.
I'll just say it's a super lyric with fabulous music and so nicely done. Kudos to all involved. Now, to go wipe a tear or two....

Nicely done Kevin, et. al and especially meaningful for any of us who have had a child in the hospital - and been waiting.
I could see the song promoted to a movie about this topic.

What a wonderful lyric. I am such a big fan of all you guys .. this is like an all star collaboration to me.
Listening a couple of times .. one small nit ... it seems like the key may be just a little too low for the vocal at the end of the verse.
Man I would love to hear the full production of this song.

Wanted to update everyone on her progress. Just got a text message from her. She just got back from working out. She rowed 600 yards in 4min 40sec. Rode the bike 2 miles in 16 min and walked into and out of the gym without her wheel chair...
