Cool one! Kept wanting the second line of the chorus to go up and you took it there on the second one at 1:37...would like to hear that more...like on all or every other one... I love it, the Blue bunny.... tom

Ellen, love the story. Nice chord changes in places and love the blues harp. You need a Jews Harp to give it a twang, twang, twang sound. That would really add to the humor. I've got one in the desk in front of me. Here....Catch!!!

Good Mornin',
I knew this one would git yer attention, Calvin! Glad ya liked it!
Hi Tom, thanks for stoppin' by and givin' this one a listen! Thanks for yer comment. I plan to do some more work with it...as this was a first version I just kinda slapped together. It's a brand new baby song that needs to do some growin'!
Hi Todd, glad ya liked my song. Maybe I should re-name it Rabbit Math (for the multiplication factor)!
Oh, Stevie, wish it were that easy...I'd be addin' that "boing" to muh song fer sure! What a great suggestion!
Yes, Rick....it's the lovely Miss Bean who inspired my song! Didja happen to catch her photo on the SoundClick page for this song? I was lookin' for her the other day out in the yard and had a panicky moment when I saw a hole dug "unner tha fence" and thought she'd made off with herself. I worry 'cause she's totally blind and might not know how to get back home. Turns out she was still in the yard, but I made sure I plugged that durn hole up! Glad ya liked it!

Hi Ellen,
What a fun song! I no longer have a rabbit but thought this was pretty cool. I like the harp coming in now and then and that was a nice twist at the end. Not bad for a "working version".

I love this one, Ellen. Wow! This sounds great considering it's a "working version." My finished versions don't come close to sounding this good. I love the harmonica and your guitar sounds great.
She's a wonderful rabbit, by the way.

Happy Friday to All,
Do I have an accent, Tammy? Hahahaha...just kiddin'...even my posts have an accent! Glad I could start your day off nicely. thanks for the kind words about muh "rabbity" song!
Hi Miz Joice, glad I made ya smile. This song just kinda wrote itself. I'm havin' a lot of fun bringing it to life.
Hi Ricki and thanks for your sweet comment 'bout my song! Queen is my very first bunny ever...she has been such a delight. Aren't you hankerin' for another rabbit?
Wendy! Good to hear from ya, Gal! I love it that you think my rabbit is wonderful!...and that you really liked this song! I probably feel the most comfortable playing tha blues (though a blues expert would say that this is NOT a real blues song) Love those songs that start with an E major chord (capoed up to a G for my voice). We have a friend coming to visit who is a guitar genius...hopin' he can add some sweet slide to tha mix!

Okay, so check this out, y'all...
Our friend, Nate is in town this weekend and he is a guitar playin' fool fer sure. He listened to my song once, and then I hit record and he threw out some sweet leads to go with it.
I got so excited about it that I decided to post the "new & improved" version on the spot.
I'll prolly go back in and edit it some where the vocals get stomped on a lil' bit...but dude, I am ready to hold him hostage 'till all my songs get purtied up!
I also re-did the harmonica track, as I was a hair off tempo in the other version I posted.
thanks fer listenin'!

I enjoyed this one. Especially the tension between rather serious music/vocal delivery and the less serious lyric.

Larry Thanks Larry! I'm especially pleased ya like my harmonica playin'...I'm still kinda working out how to use the thing! Nice additions. Nate did a great job. Your bunny must be ecstatic with the results.
Rick Thanks, Rick! Miss Bean (a.k.a. Queen) would give it a "2 Ears Up" rating, but she's a lop bunny....tee hee... and yeah, Nate's tha bomb-diggity on the leads!

Well, I had made the mistake of plugging the hole "unner tha fence" (yes, there really was a hole dug there! the rest is fictional) with a clay flower pot....
...so I'm out in the back yard checking on Miss Bean the bunny and look over, only to see the flower pot pushed out of the hole. I peek through the fence slats and there she is...my totally blind rabbit (seriously folks!) in the neighbor's back yard! Fortunately, she was contained in a small area 'cause of a shed and a squatty little palm tree.
So I run in the house and grab a handful of Craisins (she can't resist 'em!) and commence to waving one in front of her nose throught the hole under the fence. She takes the bait....I offer another one, this time pulling it ever so slowly back through the hole...I see her nose beginning to poke through...I think, "ah, I've got her now!"....nope....she ain't falling for that one.
I ended up having to jump on my bike with her carrier and pedal over to the next street so I could access the neighbor's yard....squeezing my way past that durn squatty palm, sweating like a moose let loose in Miami....finally capturing my errant bunny...
Then I had to haul *ss home and get ready for work!
There's a cinder block stuck in that hole now.

Hi Steve, you'll have to check out my "rather serious" event with my rabbit as described in the last post....rabbit people are rather fanatic 'bout their bunnies! thankz fer listenin', y'all!

Thanks Steve, Jan, Scott & Michelle, for your kind comments!

This sure is nice Ellen. I thought that was you playing that lead. I was like "I had no idea!!!" Still it is a real nice addition. Works real well with that harmonica. I am still trying to imagine how you play the guitar upside down. I try to picture it in my mind how you do it and I get my guitar and try it but man I still have trouble getting it. You must do a lot of up strums cause it does not sound like you are playing the high stings first. But never mind that. I really like this song but I think you may love your rabbit more than anyone I have ever known. And I have a sister in law that loved her rabbit a lot too. But she never wrote songs or anything. You got good fast with this multi tracking thing. Tom

Hi Tom, Yes, I'ma strummin' up when most folks are strummin' down...I use the thumb nail on muh left hand for my pick. An' yeah, I sure do love that bunny o' mine! My heart is especially tender towards her 'cause she was neglected for the most of her life (one of her previous owner's neglect caused her to become totally blind). Your last words, "You got good fast with this multi tracking thing" really made my day! I still have loads to learn, but your comment is so very encouraging!
