I am away for the weekend, so here's a little jazzy type jam. I searched and it seems I never posted this one. Thanks for listening, MP3: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7576976Kevin

Way cool, drums a little too much out front but that could be my speakers and system. Great guitar work ..

Kevin,
Very nice interpretation of the track. You're really smooth on this one. Love the tone on your guitar! This is a real nice cut, Kevin. Like I told you recently...you're really smoothing out your playing and picking good licks for the music. Reminded me a little bit of Al Caiola. Super job on this, Kevin! I enjoyed it from first note to last.

Dan, Al, shalomi: Thanks for the listen. I think I made a mistake on this one so I came back and re-recorded the 2nd "verse" -- and it sounds like I sort of did the same thing again. Oh well, those things happend.

Kevin,
Didn't catch the mistake to which you referred in either version. Sometimes what we call amistake really isn't a mistake, per se. It just isn't what we intended but it still works. As composers, we tend to call them mistakes anyway!
And just ONE "mistake"? Damn, I'd be tickled with results that good! You can find multiple mistakes...real mistakes...in almost everything I've posted. I've told you this several tikmes recently...and I'll continue to do so until it's no longer true: Your playing is getting smoother and more natural sounding all the time. Seldom does your playing sound forced or mechanical like it did in some of your earlier posts. You are devloping a very nice touch/technique that is branding your work as Kevin Emmerich's without the listener having to literally know that. You're developing a style of your own that's very pleasant to listen to. You're sounding better and better all the time.
Nice work here!

Steve: Thanks for coming by and listening!
Al: The "mistake" was edited out. I make lots of mistakes (or go places where I didn't really want to go). Sometimes they sound OK and I leave 'em in (LOL). In this case I just wanted to go some place different -- but I had forgotten what I had played previously and I guess I went "safe" (ha, ha). Thanks for stopping by again!
Ricki: Thanks for visit and kind words.

Cool Mr Jazzman, nice tone on the guitar. You done good, except for those mistakes ( see you shouldn't have told me ) I always leave mine in and let someone else find them. Like on of those pictures where you have to find the 5 mistakes. Nice pickin'.
