Hey Bob:
Stole a couple minutes at lunch to listen....
This sounded great - one of your nicest, I think.
And you're harmonizing with yourself! Cool!
Are those bongoes? In any case, love the percussion - just right for this song, I think.....
Nice one!

Hey Bob,
This is a really good listen. Great catchy lyrics also. Have you considered a drumtrack and bass for it, i think it would be a really nice song? I have only just joined JPF, I dont want to be seen as too critical until I have made a few friends on here, I think this song would be nice with a ride cymbal on quarter notes but missing the 1st in each bar. So like, miss ding ding ding, miss ding ding ding. And you could build the rhythm from there and gently crash the ride cymbal to finish it.
Just a thought

Bob, Nice acoustic pop/rock vibe on this one. Good singing & pick'n. Keep it up! Michael

Really nice job on this one. I didn't know you played bongos - that's very cool. I had a drummer friend in high school that used to play bongos with me all the time. How many of these "old" tunes you got lyin' around anyway?

Hey Bob,
Whoah, bongos, cool!
Liked the feel of the song but it's screamin for some more instruments. Drums and a crying bluesy guitar to start.
Nice song. Liked the harmonies too.

Hey Bob..
That opening strum still reminds me of an Indian drum beat. Enjoyed the listen again. I didn't notice the bongos the first time, but I did this time.
Nice job.

hey bob,
This cruises along nicely, very casual, especially like the laid back vocal phrasing, would work well in a formal format also.
geez man, you must have enough material for an album ? Keep writing them Bob, all your songs have that similar groove factor, very listenable.
cheers, niteshift

Just want Sub to master it for me so the sound is as best as can be and all the songs are the same levels and what ever other magic he can do....Most of the songs on there will be collabs with folks from here and some of my own stuff....I believe I can put out a decent one...that people might play....all fun... It will still be awhile yet... This song has turned out to be a surprise for me...Mr. T is workin' on it...sounds good... Stay in touch...please...thanks mate... Bob Hey there Bob,

I used that line too back in the 70s. But I can hear some Bob Seger. Nice, haunting sound.

Hey T,
I think the vibe & mood of this song is excellent! It reminded me of pop hit songs I loved in the 70's. You know those great tunes and bands that have that cool sound that mixes soul with rock for real..
I would only ditch one line (phrases) example- "blurt out" All the lyrics were safe, That was the only thing that stuck out that hurt the song lyrically. And the phrasing felt odd..
Nice job on the whole thing though especially the groove and vibe.

T-bob,
Ya know, for being a fellow old fart, you're pretty danged good! Only nit I have is that it needs a little more instrumentation. And it sounds like you're getting that taken care of. So, I guess I have NO nits! Liked your somewhat unusual phrasing. Nice job all the way around.

Sub...Hey man...It's strange to use "blurt it out"...yeah...hey that's me...."let's hear it"...."tell me now"....lol... I changed the wording on the lines, I know the lines you are taliking about...they were awkward...I never went back and re-did the vocal....they were changed on the lyric sheet...on Soundclick..... I'm into "safe" lyrics....this one felt good....I always like when I myself.... get the good feeling for something...the lyrics are simple but people can relate to them....easily...without trying to figure out what the heck I'm talkin' about.....that's me...lol... I'm glad you liked it....for the most part....Tomtimeless helped me alot with bringing this up to another level from where it was originally.... Hope you are feeling well....thanks for checkin' this out...Bob Hey T,
