Congratulations are in order for Roanoke Chapter member, Chris Fralin, a very talented, sought-after drummer. He's landed a gig with the band "Ill Swept", a hard rock band scheduled as the opening act for "Drooling Pool" and the Grammy-winning Linkin Park. They are also scheduled as the opening act for "Jagged Edge" in Florida in April of 2002. Ill Swept is also going to the studio to record an album in the immediate future. Chris credits his good fortune to his brother, drummer Aaron Fralin, and Bill Payne, Roanoke JPF Chapter coordinator, and will appreciate advisory and congratulatory e-mails from other Just Plain Folks members and mentors. Chris is 15 years old. Go, Chris!

WOW! Way cool for you Chris. Keep up the good work and always keep an extra pair of drum sticks handy. I am thrilled for you.
Good luck in the future!
