T-Bob, I'm probably partial, but man I think you did a great job, making it your own. Love the guitar solo too.

Really nice rendition of a good song T-Bob. It's always fun to hear how someone "covers" another JPF member's tune. Can't pick which version I like better - different feels but both feel right... Funny how I almost missed this one - missed it the first time Louis posted it too. Turns out it's one of my favorites of his too Scott

Bob,
This is a great cover of a classic Louis song. You put your own feeling into it. It's wonderful how a song can be just as good in different versions by different people - that's a mark of a great song. This tune was worth bringing back for another round!

Scott-- I always loved this song...I love the chorus especially...I asked Louis if I could do it...he said sure...he said for me to post it....I loved his version...I didn't want to post it until down the road....It shows once again...how a song can be interperted different ways....a really good song sounds good no matter what...this is one to me....thanks for listening.... Louis has a special quality in his voice that's soothing to me....so I personally like his version better....but I'm happy with mine also....take care ...Bob <font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by scott59: Really nice rendition of a good song T-Bob. Boy Howdy Terribob!
Nice tune!
Hey you know I really liked the voice doubling. There's something empowering about singing with yourself to double track. You could easily do it with a computer, but when you hit that part of this song where you are singing double, (it's only a bar or two) you really hear something unique chime in.
Listen to it again, and imagine the possibilities. This is a very heartfelt song, and an excellent voice working together well!
Blessings,
Johnboy

T-Bob,
I liked this one too. I don't recall listening to the original by Louis, but it has a nice smooth groove and lyrics. Keep 'em coming, Rick.

TB, nice song, I like the simple arrangement you used...it seems to fit well and let your nice vocal quality and kind of layed back melody just carry us to an easy place all the best...Moker
