Hello one and all, I will be hosting a JPF Meeting and Jam here at the studio on Sunday afternoon March 5th. from 3 to 6 PM. Everyone from any chapter please join us. Bring your instrument of choice or your Numbers charts to join the band for a bit of showcasing and fun after we meet and greet and exchange a few items of interest and business. Bring your drink of choice and a munchie or two to share. I will be updating this announcement more as the time approaches.. Please feel free to respond here or email me with any questions. Hi TerriLynn, I'm pretty new to the board (and Nashville), but Mike D told me that you host some writers nights and such. I'd love to check out the jam and mingle with the jpf folks. Munchies are no problem, but I have no idea where the studio is. Fill me in, sister. Thanks.
Also, when and where is your next writer's night happening? Do you just show up or is there a registration process?

Good to meet you. The studio is across Briley Pkwy. from the Grand Ole' Opry , Opryland Hotel and Opry Mills. You take the exit McGavock Pike and turn towards the Waffle House and drive past it up the hill. After the curve you will come to Fernbrook on your right, take that and go to the stop sign, turn right onto Kimberley. Follow Kimberly to the stop sign. You will now be facing a dead end, go straight ahead into the dead end and turn into the fenced driveway on your left. It is a two story cream yellow house with two decks. The actual address is 2205 B Cabin Hill Road Donelson, TN. As for the writer's nights, I am not currently doing any, due to the fact that my manager is pitching me to labels and that is the main focus now. I just completed a three song sampler and so far have met with the first label that has an interest. Once this is over I may hold a monthly showcase event somewhere here in town. In the meantime I am about to also set the date to host my favorite charity, The Child Alert Foundation. Mike Dunbar has always been a part of these over the years as well.. ------------------ Terri Lynn http://www.mkoc.com/TerriLynn/

TerriLynn I'm also brand new to Nashville & JPF. Having moved from CA just 4 months ago I still haven't made many musical connections, but the Chapter Jam you mentioned sounds great. I got the directions from one of your prior replies so, assuming it's ok, me and my acoustic will plan on showing up around 3:00 on the 5th. Thanks for making this happen. Terry Pinnegar
