Well; this is what I have written on my homepage: "I only make simple demoes of my songs. Simply because I'm not the worlds best singer or musician ;-) I have always worked alone with my music, so only 6 of my songs have so far been used by other musicians. And I have just recently started to offer them to musicians.
There are 30 mp3-demoes and 45 midi-demoes on this homepage. If you find a song you are interested in, I can supply you with the full mp3-file, the chords, the midifile and the lyrics (if it exists).
Another possibility to coorporate is that I send you the backing as an mp3-file. And you add the vocal. Terry Shea (USA) has added vocal and sologuitar to my song, that you can listen to here: Come Here. I wrote the song and made the backing. "Come Here" is going to be published on 1.000 demo-CD's in the USA."
What more do you want to know? I suppose you are a singer. If you tell me what kind of songs you like I can try to guide you to some of my songs...
Tell me more about yourself.
Jens

Hi Angela. I saw your profile - you are probably more interested in writing...
Hi Emily. Thanks for your advice. But right now I am working with 4 danish lyricists writing to my many instrumental songs. I am so busy with that, making demos etc. that I actually try to avoid writing new music right now. This week in Denmark has been hot summer and I am preparing one of my songs that is going to be recorded soon - it is a Christmassong ;-)
Hi Iggy. You are very welcome to pass my name on to a lyricist. You are also welcome to record one of my songs - you know, a great performer and a great song could give a great recording :-)
Take care.

Hy Jens,
I'm in Pittsburgh, PA, USA but if you think this could work, I'd be more than glad to collaborate together. I sing and write songs (only lyrics). Maybe you could e-mail me a music file of yours, or I could e-mail you a lyric of mine. Just so you know, I want a recording and publishing deal so I will be making a demo.
Have you ever been to Brussels? I'm from there.
E-mail me at carolynhpm@yahoo.com if you're interested.

Hi I still need english lyrics for some of my songs. My songs can be heard here at AcidPlanet: http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?songs=223216&T=1456 When the lyrics are ready, I will find a demosinger that adds the vocal to the backings that I have. I would like a lyric for "Everything I do". But also these: "As beuatiful as you" "Believe in promises" "1000 questions" The titles may change to fit YOUR lyric! Take care. Jens Baek Nielsen

I just sat at my keyboard and piano and composed the melody and found the chords. Sometimes the melody was a step ahead; sometimes the chords were a step ahead.
Take care.

Hi tsw
Would you like to try "As beuatiful as you"?
An american singer Kelly has learned the melody by singing it in danish! So I think she is ready to sing it.
Take care.

Jens,
I am a female vocalist and I have been on a roll lately writing lots of lyrics that I am desperately trying to put to music. Vocals are my strength and writing (words)a close second. I have been looking to find a talented music writer to collaborate with. Let me know if you think we might be able to do something together!

Take care.

Jens, Sorry its taken a while..I have been out straight busy lately and this is the first chance I have had to check in here in the forum. But thanks for the reply. My home computer service is really slow so I can't seem to connect to any music online here....so , no, I have not yet heard your music. one of these days I will try to do so. You can hear me at www.vicpaul.com the audios are just a couple years old the videos much older, but it's something. I am mostly concentrating on country music right now. Trying to play out on some gigs, perform in competition and put some originals together to record. Honestly, I am not familiar with how people go about collaborating via internet...but maybe I'll learn the ropes...anyway, on your end, if you listen to my voice and think we might match up style wise, let me know. I will try to check in as much as I am able Best, Melanie

Hi Melanie
Thanks for returning! I have heard the Grease Medley - great!! But it is difficult if you don't know how to collaborate via the net - and do I have songs/backings that are good enough for your voice... Hmmmm. What do we do?

Hello Jens. I am a Singer/Songwriter. I listened to some of your tracks. They sound excellent. I think that i may have two or three lyric compositions for "Everything I Do" and "Up and Down". As you stated, i may have to change the titles to fit the lyrics. I am not a musician, but i can hear melodies in my head. I haven't been able to concentrate on listening to them all, but i have dozens of lyric comps that i haven't gotten to yet. Let me know if my voice is suited for your songs by going to, www.cdbaby.com and searching under Nate "Boomer" album title: Ultimate Love For You". I wrote all the songs. The music production could have been much better, but at the time, i was only writing while someone played behind me. Yet, for a songwriter who only needs a rhythm and a few chords, it worked alright. I am currently working on two CDs as we speak. Here is a partial list of some songs on an upcoming CD, "A Dream Away", "End Of The Rainbow", "Whisper Of Love" and "The Seasons Of Your Love". I am working on "Whisper Of Love" for your "Up And Down" music comp. It is a little difficult to work on it as i would like as i am trying to get my next CD out by June Or July; but i will give it a shot Jens. Thanks for your time. -Nate "Boomer"

Your voice is surely excellent and very pleasent! I wonder how my songs would be with your voice?! It would be interesting to work with you, but how do we go on? Will you make the lyrics? Shall I send you a mp3-backing?

Hey Jens. Thanks for the compliment. Let me see what i can do first, just listening to what you have posted. I am balancing a few things at the same time. I have been on medical leave from my job for about 8 weeks now. I start physical therapy on 5-6-05. I am also currently working on the melodies for my next cd; but "i ain't gonna forget ya' Jens. Your "Up And Down" has a nice mellow sound. I'll be working on it. I was thinking of titling the next cd "Whisper Of Love", the same song i am experimenting with on your tune. If i don't use it, i won't include it without complete collaboration with you, as it is your music.
God bless -Nate "Boomer"

Hi Nate
Nice to hear from you again!
"Up and down" has only 4 chords, and no minor chords. Not typical for me! But you are right; the melody has something...
I hope you can find the time and inspiration... I look very much forward to hear what you can do with it!
I hope your health will soon be better!
Take care.

Hey Jens. Thanks for the concern about my health. God is taking good care of me. You have so many beautiful melodies. Just when i think i have a handle on one of your tracks, then another one jumps out at me. I am really interested in "Two Twins".
First, let me say though it's been many years since you lost your Sisters, you have my sincerest and deepest sympathies. I am interested in this tune because i lost my Sister as well in a car-jacking in Detroit in May of 1992. She was a gospel singer. A year before that i lost my Mom, also in May.
So maybe i can take a song i wrote a few years ago called "It's Finally Over", which is not about relatives but a lost love, and dedicate it to our Sisters. Yes, that might work. Forgive me for hop-scotching from song to song, but the story behind "Two Twins" was moving and brought back memories of my sister. I'm going to put the other songs on hold for a while and see what i can come up with.
God Bless, -Nate "Boomer"

Hi again Nate
I am also sorry about your sister (I lost my mother in december).
I'm glad you find my melodies beautiful - just take them all - make a whole album "Nate 'Boomer' sings Nielsen" - just joking ;-) - or hoping and dreaming :-)
I just hope very much, that we succeed in collaborating with something!
Take care.

Jens, I am new to this site , but I am interested in your music, I write poetry and would like to give it a try and try to write lyrics for some of your instrumentals if you have any. Also I am looking for someone to make music for some of my poems particularly one which is Christian or religious. I love soft pop and easy listening not into rock. let me know... lynn

Hello Jens. Hope you are well my man spiritually as well as physically. I know it has been a while since i have written. I've been getting my songs together for my next CD as well as collabing with another extremely talented Singer/Songwriter/Com- poser JPL member "Ruby'sFifth" who has wonderful songs as well.
I have finally completed the lyric composition to "Two Twins" titled "It's Finally Over". What a beautiful musical piece that is. If i don't concentrate on wrtiting the lyrics, this song can break you down. Though it is still a "Work In Progress", i have the melody down pretty well. However, it will be another week or two before i record the final vocals. The only thing it needs is maybe a 10-20 second intro because the lyric begins precisely on the first note which puts me into an almost guessing game. Nothing else needs to be changed or added at this moment because i have applied the words to all of your chord progression and changes; just an added intro will do. The only website i use at the moment is "cdbaby" and i can't put the song on it. I'm probably going have to send you a CD of the completed song.
There are about 3 or 4 more of your instrumental tracks that i can apply lyrics to. Only, it may be a while as i have a tendency to put to much on my plate instead of concentrating on one thing at a time.
God Bless Here's to our Sisters May they be in peace -Nate "Boomer"

Angela: What about a lyric for "Believe in promises"?
Lynn: Thanks for your email etc... :-)
Nate: Nice to hear from you again and nice to hear about your progress. I wondered if we could use a part of the song as an intro - fx the part from 2m13s to 2m26s?! Tell me if you want me to do something!
Please tell me which other titles besides "Up and down" you are interested in and I'll try to keep them aside for you...
You are very welcome to email me an mp3/wma when you have something (if that is easier than sending a CD).
Take care.

Hey Jens. I went from 2mi6s to 2mi26s on "Two Twins". It worked great. The song is so soft that i have to match it with the same soft vocals. I have done over a dozen takes trying to get it right. Maybe take 50 will be the one. I am seriously thinking about ending the song at 3:40. I tried adding lyrics from 3:40 to 4:08. It didn't quite match what i was doing. What do you think about this? Besides Up and Down, i am interested in "Time Of Innocense", "More Than A Cliche" and "Morning Light"

Hi Nate
It's ok to drop the ending. What I had made was just something fun so I had actually expected it should be dropped.
Are you aware, that "More than a cliché" is the same song as "In the shade" at the top of my songs at AcidPlanet?
Take care.

Hello Jens. Hope you and family are well. I more or less have completed "Two Twins", but the program, n-track, i "was" using is terrible. I say "was" because i have given up on it. Saved songs were lost, static was prevelant. I have a new program now.
Also, for the past few weeks, i have been dealing with a very important decision about returning to my job. Because of the physical demands of my work and problems with my back i, along with my doctor, have decided that i should seek other employment. It was a very hard decision as i have been there for 13 years. As a result, i haven't been able to concentrate on music as much as i should.
I will be working with "Two Twins" by the weeks end or early next week as i am going to redo all of my new songs with my new program. I aplogize for keeping you waiting without communicating with you. It won't be much longer. Thanks for being patient.
God Bless -Nate "Boomer"
