HI Nash folk. I'm new to the area (Williamson County)and need to find a handful of reliable musicians (mainly singers and guitarists) and VO artists for various projects. This would be for commercial jingles, song pitch demos, and other miscellaneous projects. These would obviously be paid jobs. The pay is not usually phenominal, but if we work good together, it could mean some regular cash for you. Please post a reply if you're interested. Or if anyone can tell me where to look (websites, publications, etc) to find some good people, that would be super. THanks plenty. www.makemeasong.com [This message has been edited by neilebanks (edited 01-23-2006).]

Neil, I have a lot of experience playing acoustic guitar, bass (upright and electric) and back up vocals. Check out my site, my album, Mike Dunbar '02, was self produced and performed (I even drew the album cover with my purple mechanical pencil...I did it all.) I've done some V.O. stuff (and I don't mean the bourbon) having done T.V. characters as well as comedy writing for WSMV TV's Chili Shack. Give me a shout. Wow Mike. You're awfully quick. I didn't even have a chance to go back and edit. That's awesome. I'll jump on your site and check it out. Talk soon. Neil www.makemeasong.com

Neil, I'm pretty slow until I read "paid." I don't know of any websites other than this, but I've got a low tech roladex full of pickers and singers. Need fiddlers, bagpipers, dulcimer players, programmers, tin whistlers, scratchers, sax players, stick players, theraminists? I got 'em. Mike Runnin' off to a two pm session at Razzy's I'll check back tonight. ------------------ You have to practice improvisation. -Art Tatum Mike Dunbar Music [This message has been edited by Mike Dunbar (edited 01-23-2006).]

Hey Mike, Listening to some of your tunes now. After reading your credits, I have to wonder if I'll be able to afford you. Have fun at Razzy's. By the way, What's Razzy's?

Razzy is Razzy Bailey http://www.razzybailey.com He's a singer, songwriter and producer. His first hit as a songwriter was 9,999,999 Tears for Dickey Lee. His first hit as an artist, which he also wrote, was I Hate Hate, and was on the Rock charts. As a country artist, he had nine #1 Billboard hits, and tied with Elvis for #1's on both sides of a 45 rpm (sorry those of you who don't know what I mean by that), and was a Billboard Country Entertainer of the Year. Recently, he had a #1 in Europe with City of Lost Angels (for which I am proud to have played bass). He has a studio, Razzy's Hit House, where I work quite often. I'm not a double scale A team musician, most of the stuff I play on are indie masters, Country, Gospel, Rock, Blues, Bluegrass, Americana, and Folk, primarily, though I've played on Irish, Latvian, Jazz, and Patriotic projects. So give me a call, if my new licks are too expensive, maybe I can sell you some used "pre-owned" licks. I am not in your area, but am set up at home to do final-quality vocals. I sing in many styles and do quick, professional work (including edits, if you need it). I can send a clean .WAV file back for you to mix in your own studio. Plenty of samples if you like. You can hear my voice (one of them anyway) at www.soundclick.com/eriktyler. Probably "Love Like Time" is the best for this purpose, since it's just vocal and piano. But I sing many styles, from strong gospel and R&B, to character voices. I've done many jingles and harmonize well with other vocalists. You can email at erik@eriktyler.com for more info or other samples. HI John. Yes, we are still in business. the website, www.Makemeasong.com, was down for a few days, but we're back up. I went to your site. If I have anything going on in May/June where I could use a male voice like yours, i'll contact you. Thanks again and feel free to check with me a few days before you come down. Neil

Hello, Neil. You've heard my stuff (check out my website link below if you don't remember). Listen, let me know if you could use my services. I do a ton of Demo work over the internet. I record at 24-bit, 44.1, typically. People usually send me Broadcast Wavs files in that format. Works perfectly. I've got all pro gear(mic pres, mics, etc.). If you have any interest, shoot me an email(jay@jaybritton.com) or drop me a line at: Jay Britton PO Box 1811 Ashburn, VA 20146-1811 Thanks, and good luck with everything you're doing. Hope to hear from you... ------------------ www.jaybritton.com http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=29806

Hi! I wish I lived a bit closer! I wouldn't mind helping you if you need it though! If I could live the rest of my life in a studio recording, I probably would! I love it! Sincerely, Sherelle Cary Smith www.cdbaby.com/sherellecs
