It was bad enough being locked down but now we are allowed out only to find a World that has changed dramatically. People have changed and not for the good, there is a nervousness and mistrust that was not there before. Sorry for waffling but this my musical take on it. https://soundcloud.com/gerry-cooper-855281238/its-not-the-sameYou cannot see a smile thatดs hidden behind a mask and you cannot embrace someone when social distancing is enforced. In either case Itดs Not The Same and quite possibly never will be. Best, Gerry

I agree, it might never be the same. There is distrust everywhere. I'm afraid all interaction will be online from now on.
Nice music.

You could be right and how sad is that.

Hi Gerry:
Well done. It does everything you described about the current "state of affairs" due to this unseen army of viral warriors... and our seeming inability to mount a decent defense. As I listened, I thought how even more prayerful it could become with a choral backing beginning somewhere after the mid-point. (Forgive me, I can't help it if I achieve inspiration from such beautiful work.)
Stay safe... eventually we may return to normal. Here in my little County (the second smallest in the State of Texas) we have not experienced a single known infection or death. Very strange!
Thanks for sharing. Mission accomplished, my friend.
----Dave

----Dave Hello Dave as always thank you and you could certainly be right on the choir. So if you or anyone else knows of a Church that would like to take this on with their Choir then drop me a pm. Onwards and upwards my friend. Best, Gerry

Gerry,
So beautifully sad and melancholy, I really enjoyed listening to it, very well produced. I think it feels as you intended.

Gerry,
Sad and reflective composition, beautifully put together from a production standpoint. Wonderful instrumental. Well done!
All my best,

Gerry ...
I've listened to two of your works tonight and have become a fan. You have a wonderful ability to "see" the the joy, pain, and hurt that molds the human soul. And your musical intuition creates a soundscape that expresses what you "see" so vividly. Musically succinct. You're a master of your craft and I've thoroughly enjoyed your creative expression tonight.
What I enjoyed most about writing these comments is that I didn't have to lie or exaggerate a single word.
Best to you. Please be safe ...
Alan
